Background
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) established funding for
Health IT Regional Extension Centers to provide technical assistance and disseminate best practices to support and accelerate
efforts to adopt, implement, and effectively utilize health information technology. (ARRA Sec. 3012(c))
